Dr Ronald Hoekstra is a neonatologist in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He received his medical degree from University of Minnesota Medical School and performed his Post graduate training at the Mayo Clinic. Dr Hoekstra has been affiliated with multiple hospitals in the Twin Cities area, including Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Mercy Hospital and Children’s Minnesota. He is the Co-founder of Minnesota Neonatal Physicians and Director of NICU Follow-up Program.

Dr Hoekstra has recently retired from clinical practice after more than 46 years and has learned many lessons about trust along the way. He has been married to his wife Claudia for 52 years, has 3 sons and 9 grandchildren.
