Faith @ Work – Money: thoughts on wealth, generosity stewardship and legacy…and how much is enough?”

June 15, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

$10.00

In 2004 President Bush appointed Brehm to be Chairman of the United States African Development Foundation (USADF). In 2010 President Obama reappointed Brehm to the Board of USADF where he continues to serve under President Trump.

Brehm was awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal in 2008 for his work in Africa. It’s the country’s second-highest civilian honor. That same year, Brehm was the first person from the business community to be asked by Congress to address National Prayer Breakfast in Washington DC.

Brehm also serves on the board of directors of The American Refugee Committee where he helped found Asili, a revolutionary program designed to use a free market business model to deliver clean water, medical care and nutrition to the world’s poorest regions.

Brehm is a member of The Council on Foreign Relations and was recently appointed to the board of Advisors to USAID.

He is the author of three books, Life Through A Different Lens, White Man Walking, and the recently released, Bigger Than Me (just when I had all the answers, God changed the questions)

Brehm is retired from The Brehm Group, an insurance consulting firm which he founded, and is now a full-time humanitarian, author and public speaker. He has three adult children and he and his wife, Kris, live in Minneapolis and Telluride, Colorado.
